Synopsis
A nameless soul awakens in the dark. A vermilion orb hovers beside it. Together they learn to fly, to explore, to live — and give each other names: Lofty Feather and Whitewing. Yet the world beyond their valley is vast and young, and ancestors watch from the shadows. The moon that hangs above carries more than moonlight; the painter that walks among mortals bears more than color. This is not a story about growing stronger. This is a story about learning to stay.
